Is a partnership that arises from the synergy between the Italian Society of Cosmetic and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery (SICPRE) and Hippocrates Research CRO, working in the clinical pharmacy field. This Unit links both the great scientific knowledge of SICPRE (www.sicpre.it) and Hippocrates' experience in management organization (www.hippocrates-research.it), offering the pharmaceutical industry a complete product/service guaranteeing good quality, methods and timing in development of new medicines, prosthesis and medical devices.
The Unit’s aim is to plan, manage and accomplish studies of phase I, II, III and IV. Particularly important for the new methods of collaboration with clinical structures are studies of phase I and bioequivalence, which give the Industry the right support both for the strategic evaluation of new molecules and for guaranteeing the right timing.
With regard to experimental phases connected with the Marketing of its own Company (phases III and IV) and with pharmaco-economic and observational studies, SICPRE offers extensive human resources, with about 900 members, which include Hospital and University clinicians operating in Plastic Surgery and in the most important Italian Burn Centres.
